Covid-19 and Absence

You can find any bubble closure information in Information for Parents - Communications.

This flow chart is designed to help you make an informed decision about sending your child to school if they're feeling unwell.

If someone who lives in the child's household has symptoms, then the child must self isolate for 10 days or, until they have a negative test confirmed. We encourage families to get tested to reduce unnecessary time off school.

If you make the decision to keep them at home you must leave a voicemail, on each day of absence, stating your childs name, class, reason for absence and their symptoms (if any)

What to do if your child tests positive?

To ensure effective action is taken in a timely manner we've set up a dedicated phone line for families to report if their child tests positive for COVID. The number is 07835977040

Please DO NOT ring the number for anything other than if your KPJA child tests positive for COVID and it can be proven with NHS documentation.
